THE GBWC
“Gunpla Builders World Cup” is the official Gunpla global tournament presented by BANDAI where modelers around the world show off their completed Gundam models. The competition determines the greatest Gunpla builder in the world and let creators fight for the title of Gunpla World Cup Champion!
ENTRY METHODS
2019 Walk-in entries are welcomed at Otakuthon (Montreal, Quebec), Anime Revolution (Vancouver, British Columba), Ai-Kon (Winnipeg, Manitoba) . For those who can't attend venues, we also accept Online entries. Please check back this summer for more information.

SEMI-FINALS
One winner from each of the four channels: EAST, CENTRAL, WEST, and ONLINE will compete to be the ultimate Canadian Finalist. The finalist will receive a paid trip to the JAPAN INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP representing Canada! The Canadian Finalist is selected from a panel of judges from BANDAI including Master Kawaguchi in November. Make us proud!
EAST
Otakuthon is a bilingual convention in Montreal, QC that celebrates Japanese animation (anime), graphic novels (manga), gaming, and pop culture. The event is organized yearly by passionate volunteers to make Otakuthon happen for the fans.

Anime Revolution, widely known as AniRevo, is an anime convention located in Vancouver, British Columbia. AniRevo holds multiple events in Vancouver throughout the year; the largest being our summer event, held annually at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Ai-Kon is a Japanese anime and pop culture convention held annually in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The convention is a three-day event held during the summer, which runs 24 hours though Friday morning all the way to Sunday afternoon!
Our current base of operation is the RBC Winnipeg Convention Centre, a long-time partner that not only allows for our continuous growth but is also easily accessible to our wonderful attendees in beautiful downtown Winnipeg.
